Stefan Tarras (aka big Dirt) has always had a passion for music. Growing up with a dad, who was a bassist in a well promoted rock band, turned Stefan onto music early in life. Stefan quickly wanted to grab the guitar and bass and start making music. Through high school, he was always wanting to take control of the music at parties and share his love for it. Always having a broad taste in music, Stefan floated from reggae to hip hop. From metal to folk music. As long as it had feeling, he was in love. When he discovered electronic music and DJing in early 1998, he was immediately hooked. He decided to get decks and start practicing; and soon found he had a natural flare for compiling music and mixing smoothly. His broad taste in music is reflected in his sets. From tech house to nu skool breaks, he is always searching for what he sees as a perfect groove.
