Born in the penthouse suite of some god-awful dive motel, Mike Dubious is known amongst the crew as an enigmatic visionary and a notoriously heavy drinker. After mastering his skills on the turntable as a house DJ, Mike discovered his love of loitering at the Breakbeat Island studios. Soon, his life-long love of hip-hop had re-emerged and all of his attention had turned to making beats.

Heavily influenced by his huge collection of old jazz, blues and soul records, Mike's cut-up, bass-heavy style is, if nothing else, unusual.
